Community events are a great way to bring the community together and we are lucky to have a wide range of great events, big and small, ran across the Armadale area. We invite local residents and community groups to run their own events and have collated some information and tools to help you make your event a success. 

A quick events guide

Below is just a very brief summary of the process you should take when planning an event in the City. The full guide is available in the menu items below.

  • Venue: The City has a range of outdoor settings and a variety of indoor venues for hire. Booking requests for City venues and facilities can be submitted online. Visit bookings.armadale.wa.gov.au or contact the City's Recreation Services on 9394 5000 or via email at info@armadale.wa.gov.au.  

Types of public events 

The below table is a basic event risk guide and indicates the time by which the public event application must be submitted to the City.

Medium 2 months 100-500
Low  1 month * < 100

* Only applicable for low risk events where an application is required. Refer to our events fact sheet for further information on when an application is required.

Assistance provided by the City

  • Community grants: Enquire with the City's Community Services team on whether any grants would be available. See our community grants page or contact Community Services on 9394 5000 or via email at info@armadale.wa.gov.au.

  • Free blender bike hire: The City's Blender Bike is available for community organisations, schools and sporting clubs to hire for free. See our blender bike page for more information or Contact the City's Health Services team on 9394 5000 or via email at info@armadale.wa.gov.au
