Roley
Roley Pools Heritage Walk Trails follow the Canning River for 2km's between Heritage Drive and Soldiers Road Bridge in Roleystone. It's a lovely, family friendly trail surrounded by beautiful scenery and the gentle sounds of the river flowing downstream.

There are 4 walk trails on the banks of the Canning River in Roleystone where you can discover the region's unique plants, animals, history and landscapes. Expect to see the Canning River meander through rocky outcrops under a canopy of tall trees.

The walking trail facilities at Roley Pools have recently been upgraded with new trail markers and information signage. Scan the QR codes on the new signs and learn about Noongar culture and landcare. 

Roleybushcare is an environmental community group that is focused on maintaining and protecting the bushland around the Roleystone and Karragullen areas. The Roley Pools - Heritage Walk Management Plan informs the City's onground management activities.

Difficulty

Grade 3 – Some bushwalking experience required. On leash dog walking is permitted.

Access is best via Soldiers Rd and Thompsons Road.
