The City is fortunate to have a variety of diverse bushland areas many of which feature a unique trail experience.

The City of Armadale has more than 115 reserves comprising 1,080 hectares of bushland, 67 hectares of which is managed by the City's skilled Bushcare Team. Bushland areas range from Marri / Jarrah dominated woodlands on the Darling Scarp to Banksia woodlands on the Swan Coastal Plain. 

Our bushland reserves from a key part of the unique City of Armadale landscape. In addition they support a wide variety of animal life.

The City has prepared a number of Management Plans that inform the on-ground treatment of natural areas and in doing so ensure a consistent approach to environmental management within the City.
