In an annual Australian tradition you can celebrate Australia Day with a jam-packed evening of festivities and fireworks in Armadale.
Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones said every year the City hosts Australia Day celebrations right here in the iconic Minnawarra Park.
“This event is close to home for our residents and in a venue that everyone knows and loves, offering a great alternative to the Perth Skyworks and parking hassles.”
This year’s exciting live entertainment will feature the awesome Australian brothers Courtney & Chris Murphy presenting Murphy’s Lore – Back to Oz, celebrating our traditional day in true Aussie style.
Celebrations commence from 5pm with children’s activities and carnival rides. The littlies can indulge in face painting and be mesmerized by the balloon twisters in Memorial Park.
The carnival rides, for young adventurers and thrill seeking extremists, will be located at Sanctuary Lakes.
“Come down early and don’t forget to pack a picnic rug and hamper, or you can indulge in the array of food options available for purchase.
“The festivities will continue well into the night with a spectacular fireworks display at the end of the evening,” said Mayor Zelones.
