The City of Armadale's Community Grants Program 2011/2012 can provide up to $1,000 for initiatives that benefit local residents. Not-for-profit organisations based in the City of Armadale are eligible to apply. Applications for Round 2 of the grant program will be received until 4pm, Fri 17 Feb 2012.

Eligible community groups or organisations are invited to apply for an Annual Contribution in the 2012/2013 financial year.

Stage 1b of the Armadale Aquatic Centre redevelopment is now complete. The City has produced concept plans, a business case, funding applications and undertaken consultation regarding the future upgrades of the Aquatic Centre required for a growing community.

In December 2011 the Armadale Redevelopment Authority (ARA) returned town planning controls for four precincts to the City of Armadale. These areas have accordingly reverted to the jurisdiction of City’s District Zoning Scheme Town Planning Scheme No.4.
