The Metropolitan Local Government Review Panel has released its draft findings in relation to local government reform and welcomes public submissions to its proposals. Submissions on the draft findings are open until Friday 25 May and can be made via their website at metroreview.dlg.wa.gov.au

Stage 1b of the Armadale Aquatic Centre redevelopment is now complete. The City has produced concept plans, a business case, funding applications and undertaken consultation regarding the future upgrades of the Aquatic Centre required for a growing community.

The City of Armadale commissioned authors Jennie and Bevan Carter to research and write the history of the City of Armadale and its wider district. Settlement to City was published in September 2011 and is now available for purchase.
