Whether you like small, medium or large, cute, quirky or proud, there’s sure to be a paw star that appeals to you in the City of Armadale’s #DogsofTheDale competition.
A shortlist of photos of the Dogs of the Dale candidates for each category can be seen below, and also by following the link to the voting form.
City of Armadale residents can look through the paw-tographs and vote on their favourite photo before midnight Friday 8 June, for a chance to win a $500 Armadale Shopping City Voucher.
City of Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP said that the City's latest photographic social media competition had been very popular with the community.
“The competition has been a huge success with residents. We would like to thank everyone for their submissions. We have received over 300 entries across Facebook and Instagram featuring a variety of breeds in various locations across the City.
“It was very difficult for the judges to shortlist the canine contestants because of the high quality and the variety of the images that were submitted.
“But the judges have managed to narrow down the contestants in the running to be named the Dog of the Dale to a shortlist of five images in each of the four categories.
“The shortlists showcase a range of images displaying a variety of canine cuteness and personality, creativity and interest.”
Voting is open to all City of Armadale residents. Voters can vote for their favourite photo in each category.
