It is hereby notified for public information that the City is considering a request to permanently close a portion of Kargotich Road, Forrestdale.

The permanent closure of this portion of Kargotich Road will enable the land to be subdivided as part of South Forrestdale Industrial Estate and will facilitate the new road network which will connect to the proposed realignment of Kargotich Road south of Rowley Road.

The permanent partial closure is consistent with the current Structure Plan and will continue to provide through-access for local traffic and will improve accessibility of existing and future traffic. The portion of road is proposed to be closed and amalgamated into the proposed subdivision.
