2018 Christmas opening hours

The City of Armadale's Administration Centre will be closed from noon on Friday 21 December, reopening on Wednesday 2 January 2019 at 8.15am.

Changes to business hours for the City's facilities are as follows:

  • Armadale Aquatic Centre is currently closed for renovation.

  • Armadale Arena will close at noon on Monday 24 December, and is closed Tuesday 25 December, Wednesday 26 December, and Tuesday 1 January. There will also be reduced operating hours during this period. Contact the Arena on 9394 5840 for more information.

  • Armadale Landfill and Recycling Facility will be closed from noon on Monday 24 December and will re-open at 8am on Wednesday 26 December. It will be closed from noon Monday 31 December and reopen 8am Wednesday 2 January. Contact 9399 3935 for more information.

  • The Drop ‘n’ Shop reuse centre is closed from 4pm on Sunday 23 December to Wednesday 26 December, and Monday 31 December and Tuesday 1 January and Wednesday 2 January.

  • The Roleystone Greenwaste Site is closed from Thursday 20 December to Wednesday 2 January.

  • Armadale Library will close at 5pm on Monday 24 December and will be closed Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 December, reopening at 9am on Thursday 27 December. It will also be closed on Tuesday 1 January.

  • Kelmscott Library will be closed on Sunday 23 December and will re-open on Monday 24 December from 9am to 5pm. It will be closed again on Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 December, Sunday 30 January and 1 January, re-opening at 9am on Wednesday 2 January.

  • The Seville Grove Library is currently closed for redevelopment.

  • The Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre will close at 2pm on Sunday 23 December and will be closed on Monday 24, Tuesday 25, and Wednesday 26 December, and will re-open at 9am on Thursday 27 December. It will be closed again on Monday 31 December and Tuesday 1 January, and re-open at 9am on Wednesday 2 January.

  • History House Museum will be closed from Monday 24 to Friday 28 December, inclusive. It will re-open on Saturday 29 December from 1 to 4pm. It will be closed again from Monday 31 December to Wednesday 2 January, inclusive, reopening Thursday 3 January at 10am.

  • Champion Centre is closed for redevelopment.

As rubbish/recycling bins won’t be emptied on Christmas day and New Year’s day, all collections in the weeks following these two days will be completed one day later than your normal collection day.

For those two weeks only, bins that are usually emptied on a Monday will not change. However, bins usually emptied on a Tuesday will be emptied on Wednesday, and so on through the week (so, if your bin(s) are usually emptied on a Friday they will be emptied on the Saturday). Services will return to normal on Monday 7 January 2019.
