Are you the next King of the Hill champion? The King of the Hill Skateboard and Scooter Competition Series is returning to Armadale this month.

The qualifiers will begin on Saturday 24 February from 5 to 9pm at Gosnells Skate Park, with the City of Armadale hosting the second and final qualifying heats at Cross Park Skate Park in Roleystone.

The competition will give young people a chance to demonstrate their skills and compete for over $10,000 in prizes and cash.

While the competition focuses on skate and scooter skills, the event also raises awareness about mental health and improved access to services for young people, in particular young boys and men aged 12 to 24 years.

The King of the Hill Skate Park Series is a collaborative project between the Cities of Armadale, Gosnells, Canning and Belmont, and headspace Armadale that is overseen by the Gosnells/Canning Youth Collaboration Action Network.
