The City of Armadale is seeking public comment on the draft master plan concepts for the future of the Bob Blackburn Reserve Precinct and Gwynne Park Precinct as sporting and community hubs.
Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP said the City embarked on the Master Plan project in 2012 for the direction of 12 sporting and community hubs located in the City.
“The masterplan concepts have evolved through engagement with current and potential precinct user groups, the surrounding community, key stakeholders, servicing authorities and City staff,” he said.
“Feedback gathered through the consultation and engagement activities has informed the concepts.
“This is an opportunity for the City wide community and user groups to have their final say and influence the long-term development of these sporting and community hubs.
“The public comment period concludes at 5pm on Friday, 5 March and this is the final activity before the master plans are finalised and presented to Council for endorsement,” he said.
To view copies of the draft master plan and have your say using the survey visit www.armadale.wa.gov.au or complete a hardcopy of the feedback form and return it to the City via email, post or in person.
