The City of Armadale is calling on young bands to play at Framed aglow! the City’s not to be missed free youth music event.

The event will be held at the Armadale District Hall on Friday 19 August from 6 to 9pm with a focus on a glowing night of rad live music performances by talented local bands.

The City will be choosing three amazing bands to perform at the event so if you know of a young person aged 13 – 17 years old in a band, encourage them to contact the City by Friday 5 August for their chance to perform.

Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP said FRAMED aglow! will see the Armadale District Hall transformed into a glow room with UV lights, neon urban art, glow sticks and a neon body art zone.

“This is a great opportunity for talented young musicians to have a stage in which they can showcase their skills, with prizes available for the chosen acts”.

“We are very proud of the incredible young talent we have here in the City and are pleased to be providing an event that showcases not only our budding artists but a number of upcoming and promising young musician’s during the same event,” said Mayor Zelones.

Framed aglow! is part of the Outside the Frame Art Exhibition, being held from Saturday 13 August to Sunday 21 August from 11am to 4pm daily.
