Choirs, quartet bands and classic orchestra sounds are set to bring more festive cheer to the Jull Street Mall in Armadale with the return of the popular Music in the Mall series this month.

The free lunchtime concerts will start this Saturday 8 December from 1 to 3pm, with the Brasso’s, the brass ensemble of the Classic Sounds Orchestra near Commerce Avenue in Jull Street Mall.

City of Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP said the City is proud to bring the series back to the mall to entertain shoppers every Saturday from 1 to 3pm, in the lead up to the Christmas period.

“The bands will play outside of the ARC Artist Retail Collective at the railway end of the Jull Street Mall each Saturday.

“On 15 December, the Armadale City Concert Band quartet will play a mix of favourite Christmas tunes and popular classics, and on 22 December, the Carradine Choir joined by the Brasso’s ensemble from the Classic Sounds Orchestra will perform Christmas Carols.

“There will also be handmade art and gifts stalls at the ARC Artist Retail Collective Armadale where shoppers can browse for Christmas gift inspiration.”

The concert series will break over the January holidays and return in February 2019 with a strong line up of local live music.
