Growing Our Community survey 2023
Release Date:
Wednesday, 1 February 2023

As one of Western Australia’s fastest growing local government areas, the City of Armadale’s population is forecast to tip over 150,000 by 2041.

In order to keep this growth sustainable, the City is seeking feedback via the Growing our Community campaign ‘Tell us about your suburb’.

City of Armadale Mayor Ruth Butterfield said it is important to continue engaging with residents to better understand what the important issues are within individual suburbs.

“We are asking residents what they love about their suburb and what they feel the main social issues are,” Mayor Butterfield said.

The City works alongside a variety of external agencies including government, community organisations and local businesses to deliver services and support the community.

“There are 19 suburbs within the City of Armadale and over 100,000 residents and we want to know what the best things are and what needs improving where you live.

“I encourage residents of all ages and backgrounds to complete the quick online survey to help us better plan for the future.

“The information gathered will help Council continue to ‘grow the happiness’ of your suburb and support external organisations and community groups to fill the gaps in your local area,” Mayor Butterfield said.

Everyone that completes the survey and provides their contact details will go into the draw to win one of four $250 food vouchers.
