The City of Armadale confirmed its commitment to fostering and supporting small business development in the region with the continuation of the Armadale Enterprise Development Program for a second year.

The program will run over the next 12 months and will provide relevant and targeted training opportunities for the small business community, with all sessions being held locally in the Armadale region.

“There are nearly 4000 businesses which currently operate in the City of Armadale, more than 2500 of which are micro-businesses. The Enterprise Development Program is aimed at assisting small businesses and providing them with the knowledge to grow their business,” said Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP.

“I encourage all businesses operating within the City to take advantage of these training sessions, and to go to the Economic Development section of the City’s website to get more details or to make a booking.

“We have designed the program sessions and content for 2015/16 based on feedback received from the businesses who participated last year.

As an additional benefit for businesses who register for a workshop this year, there will be an opportunity for four Armadale based businesses to receive an hour long one-on-one mentoring session with the presenter of the workshop.
