A long way from Devon
‘A long way from Devon’ is a dramatic performance by Hugh Carder. Join us as he explores the journey of Thomas Buckingham and his family, as pioneers arriving in this harsh new land.
Hear the challenges and hardships experienced by the Buckinghams in the early Roleystone and Kelmscott community, as they rolled up their sleeves and with hard work carved out a new life in this lonely and inhospitable country. They paved the way for our modern community of today.
