This Spring, market goers and foodies can tantalise their taste buds and indulge in food, wine, music and arts and crafts at several markets in Armadale and surrounding areas, listen to live jazz music at Genesis in the Hills and enjoy a long lunch at Millbrook Winery, during the Spring into Armadale Festival from August to 30 November.

Genesis in the Hills Live Jazz Music

First Saturday of every month, 12.30pm to 2.30pm
Genesis in the Hills, 124 Croyden Road, Roleystone

Do you need to get away from the city life and recharge? Just a 45-minute drive away, the refreshing natural surrounds of the Perth Hills feels like a holiday. Visit Genesis in the Hills for lunch on their sunny deck, soak up the views of the rolling hills or enjoy the rain from inside their warm, cozy cabin. They offer live and local jazz on the first Saturday of every month.

The Spring Long Lunch

Foodies and wine lovers will be able to tantalise their taste buds at the Spring Long Lunch on Saturday 30 September from 11am to 3pm at Millbrook Winery.

Start the day with a tour of the winery with Senior Winemaker Damian Hutton. Enjoy canapes and a glass of wine in the tasting room, then a delicious long lunch in the dining room prepared by Head Chef and Gardener Guy Jeffreys, thoughtfully paired with a selection of their new release and museum wines, while overlooking the sparkling lake and rolling vistas of Millbrook. Gather your family and friends for this wonderful day out.

The Falls Markets
Saturday 9 September, 14 October and 11 November, from 8am to 1pm
St Stephen’s Anglican Church,
Corner Falls Road and South West Highway, Serpentine

Bring your family and friends and enjoy this agricultural old style country market featuring: art and craft, home preserves, donuts, dog products, plants, gemstones, knick-knacks and cake stalls.

Fifty percent of stall proceeds go towards the upgrade and restoration of 104-year old St Stephen’s Anglican Church.

Roleystone Markets
Sunday 10 September, 10am to 3pm
Cross Park, Corner of Jarrah and Wygonda Road, Roleystone

The village of Roleystone invites you to enjoy a spring market experience in a bushland environment. Stroll among 100 handpicked stalls while being entertained by wandering musicians from the Roleystone Musicians Club.

Hawkers Markets
Friday 3 and 10 November, 5 to 8.30pm
Memorial ParkCorner of Orchard Ave and Jull Street, Armadale

If you love great food, culture and live music, then these markets are for you. As we head into summer it’s a perfect excuse to take a night off cooking and eat out with your family and friends. Set in the leafy surrounds of Memorial Park, it’s the perfect place to bring the kids as they can play in the adventure playground and run around on the grass in the large amphitheatre. Indulge in exotic cuisines from a variety of food trucks, then sit back and enjoy live music and performances inspired by different cultures from across the world.

Bedfordale Bush Markets
Fourth Saturday of every month, 8am to 1pm
Bedfordale Hall, 40 Admiral Road, Bedfordale

Enjoy the natural bush setting adjacent to Bungendore Park.

There will be stalls offering local produce, craft, art and free children’s activities and nature play. Each market is themed so check the Visit Armadale website for more details.

Kalamunda Town Square,

Set in the picturesque Town Square and Central Mall in Kalamunda, the market boasts over 200 stallholders with a wide variety of locally handcrafted products and home grown produce.

Kalamunda Farmer’s Market
Every Sunday, from 8am to noon
Central Mall, Kalamunda.

This free award winning market is a farmers, producers, artesan and gourmet food market. Foodies can tantalise their taste buds with samples on offer and meet others with a passion for fresh and local produce that is bursting with flavour and nutrition.

Mundijong Auction and Markets
First and third Wednesday of every month, from 8am to 1pm
Livestock auction starts at 10.30am.

Visitors can stroll in a natural country setting as they browse the rural market stalls and enjoy the spectacle of a traditional Aussie livestock auction.
