Throughout the year the City of Armadale will be hosting a series of Positive Ageing Sessions at the Armadale Library, and other venues throughout the City of Armadale, to engage older members of the community.

The workshops are held each month and cover a wide range of topics such as safety and security, health, activities for older people and other useful information.

Life can be tough – Bend don’t break

Wednesday 5 July, 1.30 – 4pm
Armadale Library

Come and discover ways to develop resilient behaviours during difficult times at the next Positive Ageing session, Life can be tough – Bend don’t break, on Wednesday 5 July at the Armadale Library.

A representative from Anglicare WA will discuss how a lifetime of wellbeing for individuals, families and communities has been linked to developing resilient behaviours.

But what does resilience look like? It is definitely not a matter of being tough in every circumstance, no matter what life throws at you; and it is not a fixed trait which a lucky few inherit.

Refreshments will be provided. Bookings are essential. Visit library.armadale.wa.gov.au or call 9394 5125.
