Candice Fox Crime Writer

Monday 27 February, 1.30 - 2.30pm
Kelmscott Library

Recently identified by the Australian Financial Review as one of Australia's top female crime authors, Candice Fox's suspense thrillers have propelled her into international acclaim.

Crimson Lake is inspired by the concept of guilt by public opinion, and Candice's time spent living in Queensland. The novel explores how even if found innocent by the court, certain accusations can stick for a long time after, and a person can be forever tarnished.

Candice's life is the stuff of fiction: raised by a parole officer and an enthusiastic foster-carer mother, her childhood was full of dark tales overheard while eavesdropping around doorways.

Places are limited and bookings are essential. Visit library.armadale.wa.gov.au or call 9394 5810 to book a place.

Note: Groups must phone for bookings. If you are unable to attend after booking, please notify the library.
