Golden Oldies Afternoon

An afternoon of Lego, colouring, rock painting, games, puzzles and a help station for your technology troubles.

Keep your mind active and keep your hands moving! These activities will unleash creativity, improve co-ordination, and relax the mind.

All materials are provided and refreshments will be available.

Write-ins support people participating in National Novel Writing Month.

Meet Perth based bestselling authors Natasha Lester and Tess Woods. Enjoy the conversation as they discuss their latest novels, Her Mother’s Secret and Beautiful Messy Love.

Natasha and Tess will chat about the journey and process from initial idea to finished novel. They will share their best marketing and branding tips and you will hear about how they manage/struggle to accommodate writing into their busy lives.

Writing and completing a novel is a major achievement. From manuscript assessments to publishing options, and from agent hunting to on-demand printing, Peter Ramshaw will explore the numerous ways to get a story into the hands of the people it is written for in the first place - readers!

Peter has been a fulltime journalist and editor since 1976. He’s worked for newspapers, magazines, book publishers, online companies, and is a published author. In his spare time, Peter helps authors get their sweat-drenched words into print.
