The Australian Technical College Western Australia (ATCWA) will welcome students at its Armadale campus in February 2016.

“It was a disappointing loss for our community, when the original Australian Technical College closed in 2013," said Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP.

“It will be great to see a new education service provider operating in Armadale, as one of Western Australia’s fastest growing local government areas, we need education and training facilities in the heart of Armadale.

“It is positive to see training providers recognise this immense population growth and providing crucial training for our growing community.

“The ATCWA will be of great benefit for our residents, in particular our young population, providing access to quality education and improving employment prospects locally and regionally,” said Mayor Zelones.

ATCWA is currently taking enrolments for students for courses including:

  • Course IV in Business
  • Diploma of Business
  • Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management

The first term will begin in February 2016 with more courses becoming available throughout the year including Hospitality and Cookery and Trades.
