If you are a resident, property owner or business owner in the City of Armadale, and on the electoral roll before August 25, then you can get involved in council elections, which take place on Saturday 21 October.

The City of Armadale is part of your everyday life, providing roads and footpaths, parks and playgrounds, libraries, sports ovals and so much more.

The decisions about these services and facilities are made by an elected group of councillors. The upcoming Council election is your opportunity to influence who they may be, to make your neighbourhood and area an even better place to live.

The call for candidate nominations closed on September 7, resulting in 4 nominations for Mayor and 25 nominations in total being received for the position of Councillor across the different wards.

Candidate profiles can be viewed at the Administration Centre customer service area, or on the City’s website www.armadale.wa.gov.au/candidate-profiles

Postal election packages, including ballot papers for voting will be mailed to electors and are expected to begin hitting the mailboxes from Monday 25 September.

If by Friday 13 October you have not received your election package, visit the City of Armadale Administration Centre to receive a replacement package.

All votes must be received by the Electoral Commission by 6pm on 21 October. If you are uncertain that your returned postal vote would be received by this time, please return the voting envelope to the City of Armadale’s reception building in the marked ballot box.
