The City of Armadale’s Spring into Armadale Festival kicks off from 1 August, and is a celebration of everything that’s special about the Armadale region of the Perth Hills.

In collaboration with local community groups, tourism and small businesses the City has created a festival of events that promotes the region, encouraging people from within our community and those from the greater Perth region to join in and experience all that we have to offer.

City of Armadale Mayor Ruth Butterfield said the Festival will showcase around 77 events from August to November including the Araluen Botanic Park It’s Yates Springtime at Araluen Tulip Festival.

“The Festival provides something for everyone with plenty of free family events that includes arts, history and culture, food, wine and markets, and nature experiences in Armadale Hills.

“This year the Festival has a special addition for the younger generation with the Awesome Armadale Kids’ Festival Hub, just in time for the beginning of the September School holidays.

Children of all ages can participate and enjoy a range of hands on workshops, performances, literature and activities all under one space at the Kelmscott Hall on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 September, along with Early Years Creative Space sessions for the younger children at Armadale District Hall.

“Showcasing the best of the region against a backdrop of rolling countryside and the beautiful Darling Range, this year’s season-long celebration offers visitors the opportunity to experience eclectic events and unique experiences – so take a look and enjoy everything our region has to offer”, said Mayor Butterfield.

Find out more and start your adventure at the Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre, 40 Jull Street, Armadale.
