As the situation surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak evolves, the City of Armadale is determined to support its community by continuing to deliver essential services to residents and businesses.

Following directives from the Federal Government and the WA Department of Health, the City is carefully monitoring changes to health advice and our top priority remains the health and safety of our community, customers and staff.

A number of City of Armadale services will continue to operate as normal.

The City’s Administration Office remains open to assist the community with any enquiries or requests. Payments, enquiries and requests can be made online.

General waste and recycling bin collection dates will not change at this time, neither will bulk waste and bulk garden verge collection dates. Dates and other general information about our waste services can be found on the City’s website.

The City of Armadale Libraries have a variety of online services that provide library members free access to eBooks, eAudiobooks, and movies on their devices. Loan renewals can be accessed online and all overdue books, fines and charges will not apply during this period.

The Armadale Fitness and Aquatic Centre is working on servicing the community through new virtual means. Updates will be communicated via the City of Armadale Facebook page and website in the coming days.

City of Armadale Mayor Ruth Butterfield emphasised that the safety and health of the community remains at the forefront of the City’s decision making.

“This is a really important time for us to unite as a community, to reach out to friends and family and to keep ‘connected’ in a time of social distancing,” said Mayor Butterfield.

“As always, we are committed to providing essential services to residents and ratepayers, while ensuring the health and safety of our community, customers and staff.”
