Have your say in this year’s City of Armadale Elections on 21 October by ensuring you are enrolled.

City of Armadale CEO Ray Tame encourages all residents and ratepayers to ensure they are registered to vote.

“Your Local Government makes many important decisions that affect the community you live in, for a vast range of programs and services”.

“These include planning and development issues, protecting the bushland and reserves in our region, growing economic development and employment opportunities, community events and tourism to future planning of community facilities and infrastructure requirements.

“The person you choose to represent your ward as a Councillor can play an important role in what happens in your area and the overall region.

“By registering to vote you can influence the selection of the person or persons who will represent you over the next four year term,” said Mr Tame.

To be eligible to vote you must be either:

  1. Enrolled on the State Electoral roll for a residence within the City of Armadale by 1 September, or
  2. Enrolled on the City’s owners and occupiers roll by 25 August.

Electoral packages are estimated by the West Australian Electoral Commission to be posted to all eligible electors early October, in plenty of time for election-day on 21 October.

To check your current enrolment status, please contact the Western Australian Electoral Commission at www.elections.wa.gov.au or call 13 63 06.
