As part of the City of Armadale’s ongoing commitment to improving aging facilities the John Dunn Pavilion in Kelmscott is currently undergoing an upgrade.
The pavilion was built in January 1978 and requires extensive upgrades to meet the needs of the current and future users.
John Dunn Pavilion is home to both the Kelmscott Bulldogs Football Club and the Kelmscott Junior Football Club during the winter season and in summer the Kelmscott Baseball Club.
To ensure business as usual throughout the upgrade period, clubs will be provided restricted access to the lower level of the pavilion and storeroom during the 2023 winter season.
As this project has experienced delays with a slower than anticipated pace of work the City is liaising with the construction contractor to organise access to the construction site for the club’s officials and will conduct a ‘walk through’ to explain the works and design in the coming weeks.
