The City of Armadale is hosting a family history session with Barb Grinsell titled Changes in your Lifetime, at the Armadale Library on Thursday 28 August from 10am to midday.

Mayor Henry Zelones said researching family history is a popular pastime for many people and there are a wide variety of materials available for recording this information.

“Barb will inspire you to start working on an extension to your family history and how to compare and record the incredible changes you have lived through.

“Throughout the last century there have been many changes, not only in medicine, science and technology but in everyday things as well.

“This session will assist you to recall the changes you have experienced over the years, in areas such as etiquette, home life, sport and leisure activities, fashion, clothing and even hairstyles.

“There will also be time available during this informative session to ask questions and purchase copies of Barb’s workbook Treasured Recollection of my Life,” said Mayor Zelones.

This session costs $2 per person, payable to the presenter on the day.
