History House Museum will be hosting a range of free, family friendly school holiday activities from 4 to 19 April.

Families will have the opportunity to browse through the museum, look through our collections and learn more about the City’s local history.

Hot Air Balloons
Wednesday 8 April, 10am – noon
Create your own World War One hot air observation balloon. Suitable for children aged six to 12. Bookings are essential.

Trench Periscopes
Wednesday 15 April, 10am – noon
Trench periscopes were created in World War One. Come along and create your own to take home. Suitable for children aged six to 12. Bookings are essential.

Museum Trail
Browse through various objects in the Museum and learn more about their stories. This event will be on throughout the school holidays.

Object Artistry
Create your own artwork based on an object that you have seen in the museum to add to the display at the front gallery.
