The Armadale Arena is hosting their second annual Big Blue Bash to support the work of beyondblue on Tuesday 6 October from 6.30 to 8pm.

The Arena will host a one hour super circuit where participants can exercise, have fun and support a worthy cause.

“Michael Leith will be our very special guest speaker. Michael has had some impressive achievements. He recently did a 1000km stand-up paddle from Brisbane to Sydney to raise awareness for men’s mental health and wellbeing,” said Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP.

“There will be raffles and door prizes to be won and children from four to 11 years can join a Radkids class for a gold coin donation. Our crèche will be also be available for the young ones.

“All proceeds will be donated to beyondblue, a non-profit organisation working to address mental health issues in Australia.

“In any one year, around one million Australian adults have depression, and over two million have anxiety. It is estimated that 45 per cent of people will experience a mental health condition in their lifetime (beyondblue),” he said.

The super circuit is suitable for all fitness levels and anyone over 12 years of age.
