Project Details

Gwynne Park is the largest recreation reserve in the City of Armadale, comprised of the following sporting activities and facilities:

  • Armadale Recreation Centre (Arena),
  • Armadale Badminton Centre
  • Lotteries House and the John Green Centre
  • Armadale Tennis Club and courts
  • Gwynne Park Pavilion (Armadale Sports Club – cricket, AFL, darts, function centre)
  • Armadale Bowling Club and greens
  • Armadale Guides and Scout Halls
  • Skate park
  • Play-ground and outdoor half-court
  • Playing fields and cricket nets
  • Fire and Emergency Services training track and facilities.

The Gwynne Park Master Plan was endorsed by Council in May 2016 (C20/5/16) and a further review of facilities on the site was completed in December 2020.

The Gwynne Park Skate Park was opened in November 2021 and significant upgrades have been completed at the Armadale Bowling Club and the Badminton Centre, with further works being progressively scoped and scheduled.
