The City’s recyclable waste collection contractor, Cleanaway, has grounded their waste collection fleet Nationwide and this will affect collection of residential yellow topped recycling bins in the City.

Until the trucks are back on the road Cleanaway will not be able to collect resident’s Recycling. The City is urgently investigating ways to minimise the delay on collection.

The City is advising residents to continue to put out their yellow topped bins, and should these not be emptied by late evening to please take them back on to their property overnight, and to put them out again the following morning.

The City will be endeavouring to get collections back on time as quickly as possible.

The City’s weekly putrescible waste collection service is not affected, and green topped rubbish bins will be collected as usual.

Residents can access new information as it becomes available through the City’s website, by following the City of Armadale on facebook or by contacting the City’s Customer Service staff on 9399 0111.
