For over a decade Kathy volunteered at the Mornington Community Information and Support Centre (MCISC) in Mornington, Victoria. During that time Kathy worked with clients interviewing and helping with welfare and also tourism information. She also spent one day per week updating pamphlets etc. MCISC had a team of about 60 volunteers.
During this time Kathy also worked with a disability organisation assisting in their opshop and with various activities.
In 2012 Kathy moved to WA and started volunteering with Lifeline and 2nd Chance OpShop. During this time she also started with History House Museum in Armadale, updating and photographing objects new and old that had been donated to the museum.
Recently Kathy started volunteering with children that visit History House Museum and finds it very rewarding working under the direction of the Education Officer.
