Scheme Amendments implementing the Scheme Review and Local Planning Strategy will be notified and made available for review and comment on the “Out for Comment and Notices” page of the City’s website following their initiation by Council. The conversion Scheme Amendment No. 86 bringing TPS No.4 into conformity with the Deemed Provisions of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations (2015) was gazetted on 20 June 2017.
The City will prepare a further review of TPS No.4 in the 5th year after the WAPC’s 2016 Scheme Review (Audit) Report and Local Planning Strategy approvals to consider whether the local planning scheme and strategy remains up-to-date and in compliance with the Planning and Development Regulations. This will be followed by a new Consolidation of the Scheme and in accordance with the Regulations preparation of Amendments to the Scheme and/or Local Planning Strategy or the preparation of a new Scheme.
