The City of Armadale is hosting Framed, a music and arts event for young people aged 13 to 17 years.

Framed will be held at the Armadale District Hall on Friday 21 August from 6 to 9pm with a focus on performances by talented local bands.

Local favourites, Splinta, will be performing as the headline act. Supporting acts include Placid a grunge/hard rock band from Roleystone, and local rock/metal band, Aibophobia.

“This is a great opportunity for talented young musicians to have a stage in which they can showcase their skills,” said Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP.

“During the evening the young people will have the opportunity to view artwork on display at the Outside the Frame exhibition in the Hall.

“We are very proud of the incredible young talent we have here in the City and are pleased to be providing an event that showcases local artists,” he said.

Framed is part of the Outside the Frame Art Exhibition, being held from Saturday 15 August to Sunday 23 August from 11am to 4pm daily.

Free tickets are available through www.armadale.wa.gov.au.

Tickets must be printed and presented at the door, no ticket no entry.

This drug and alcohol free event is proudly brought to you by the City of Armadale.
