What better way to get fit than with FREE yoga classes outside in the fresh air!

The City of Armadale will be hosting the popular outdoor yoga fitness sessions in the beautiful surrounds of Minnawarra Park during March.

Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones said it’s a great way to start the day, being outdoors in a peaceful environment while you improve your health by doing something active.

“There is a growing interest in yoga as more and more people become aware of the mental and physical benefits of this form of exercise.” said Mayor Zelones.

The gentle stretching of muscles and joints helps to flush toxins, increases flexibility of joints, exercises different tendons and ligaments and even massages internal glands and organs of your body.

“I would encourage anyone interested in learning some yoga techniques to give it a go and attend these free sessions,” said Mayor Zelones.

Remember to bring a towel, yoga mat and water bottle and benefit from a fabulous yoga class. The classes will be held from 6.30 to 7.30am on Monday 10, 17 and 24 March.
