The City is in the process of reviewing and updating its Municipal Heritage Inventory (MHI) of heritage places and we want your comments!

The MHI documents the buildings and places that have played an important role in the City's community and building history.

The City of Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP said the City is required to review the inventory and is seeking suggestions for places and buildings to include in the MHI and comments on existing places and buildings in the document, so information can be updated.

“Nominations for new places and buildings are to include the name/address of the submitter and a description of the place together with any supporting information regarding the heritage significance of the place such as photos or historical information.

“We will consider the comments received including consideration of new nominations and a draft updated MHI will be prepared and presented to Council for consideration for formal public consultation.”

If you wish to have your say on the review, please provide your comments to the City via info@armadale.wa.gov.au. Public comments are open until 14 September.
