Looking for something interesting and different to keep the children occupied during the summer holidays?

When visiting the Armadale City Centre drop into the City’s History House Museum for some free fun that all the family can enjoy.

Hidden throughout the museum are six mystery objects. What am I? Who used me? What am I used for? Where was I used? Be factual or let your imagination soar! Fill out the labels provided and place them by the object.

Are you a good detective? Can you follow clues and discover the identity of the museum object? Ask for a pack of clue cards at the front desk. Follow the clues and discover the object. Write the answers on your identity card.

Museum staff and volunteers have tagged their favourite objects on display at the museum. Come and see what they chose and why. What would be your favourite object? Cast your vote on their choices.

The sessions run from Tuesday 6 January to Saturday 31 January, during usual hours of business. The museum is open five days a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10am to 4pm and Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4pm.

Bookings are not essential. Parents or carers must stay with their child during visits.
