  • Worm farming – the benefits, setting them up, where to get worms and more.
  • Gardening and growing food and native plants in small spaces, how to compost and set up raised garden beds and ‘wicking’ beds.
  • The Native Plants for Residents Program.

Waterwise gardening

This Water Corporation’s presentation looks at:

  • Perth’s drying climate and the need to create a more waterside garden.
  • Creating the right soils, mulching, using your irrigation correctly, hydrozoning and choosing waterwise plants.
  • Practical advice on long term water savings.
