Throughout the year the City of Armadale will be hosting a series of Positive Ageing Sessions at the Armadale Library, and other venues throughout the City of Armadale, to engage older members of the community.

The workshops are held each month and cover a wide range of topics such as safety and security, health, activities for older people and other useful information.

Improve your Mental Health and Wellbeing

Wednesday 4 October, 1.30 – 4pm
Armadale Library

Research has shown that being connected and engaged can help improve your mental health and wellbeing.

Leading into Mental Health Week, this workshop covers:

  • The benefit of joining a club or group and information on clubs and groups you can join.
  • How volunteering can enrich your life.
  • How exercise can create a stronger body and mind and then participate in a short low impact exercise class.
