Nominations to become a candidate in the 2017 City of Armadale Local Government Elections officially opened on Thursday 7 September, 2017 and will close Thursday 14 September, 2017 at 4pm.
There are seven Councillor Vacancies available – one each in the Heron, Hills, Lake, Minnawarra, Ranford, Palomino and River Wards.
Once nominations close, at 4pm Thursday 14 September the Returning Officer will begin the process of drawing each candidate's name to determine the order their name will appear on ballot paper.
This draw will take place shortly after nominations close within the Function Room on the first floor of the City’s Administration Centre, 7 Orchard Avenue Armadale with all candidates and members of the public welcome to observe the process.
