Australian Reading Hour - Pyjama Storytime with Hamish, Hector and Morag!
Thursday 19 September, 6.30 - 7.30pm

Hector, the highland cow, has moved from Scotland to Australia and is missing his two best friends. He loves to remember their great adventures until one day something perfect happens.

This is a beautiful story of friendship, kindness and helping others. Join Hector, Hamish and Morag as they remember old adventures and move on to new pastures.

This is the first book written by Scottish – Australian author Christine Gillougley. The story of Hector, Hamish and Morag was inspired by her moving to Perth and the memories of her life at home in Scotland.

At this special storytime presented by Christine, you will sing songs, listen to a story, read books and do a craft activity.

Come to this session wearing your pyjamas!

Refreshments of Milo will be available after this session. Hector, Hamish and Morag - A Highland Cow Adventure will be available to purchase for $14.99. Cash and credit card accepted. Parents or carers must stay with their child at this session.

Faye Arcaro is a Western Australian based horticulturist who co-hosts the weekly Let's Talk Gardening program on Curtin 100.1FM radio.

In 2007, Faye’s wonderful Perth garden won her the title of ABC Gardener of the Year.

The Curiosity Hour: A Dementia Friendly Event presents - Playing with Pictures

Playing with Pictures is a dementia friendly event, which encourages the exploration of historical photographs and cameras through hands-on interaction and other fun activities.

Please join us for some fun, a cuppa, and a chance to explore and examine the City of Armadale's heritage collection.

History House Museum is wheelchair accessible.
