Throughout the year the City of Armadale will be engaging senior members of the community at a series of Positive Ageing Sessions at the Armadale Library and other local venues.

The workshops are held each month and cover a wide range of topics such as safety and security, health, activities for older people and other useful information.

Where will you be at 73? Right sizing in retirement

Wednesday 4 April
1.30 – 2.30pm

An education advisor from the Seniors Housing Advisory Centre (a branch of Consumer Protection), will discuss:
• The range of housing options available in retirement
• What to look at when considering whether to downsize
• The costs involved when downsizing or moving into retirement villages and residential parks.

Understanding the rights and obligations of retirement village living

Wednesday 4 April
3 – 4pm
Armadale Library

For those that are about to or have already made the move into a retirement village, the Seniors Housing Advisory Centre Education Advisor will explain the rights and obligations of retirement village living.

Refreshments will be provided. Bookings are essential.
