Positive Ageing – Let’s Get Crafty - Bird Nesting Box

Thursday 13 August, 10am – noon, Armadale Library

Are you interested in attracting birds to your garden this spring? Come along to this workshop, make and decorate a bird nesting box, and start enticing more birds into your garden.

The Activities Coordinator from Bunnings Armadale will guide you through how to create and decorate a simple bird nesting box.

This is a free workshop with all materials supplied by Bunnings Armadale.

Better Beginnings Parent Workshop: Baby Bliss

Friday 14 August, 10 – 11am, Armadale Library

Rebecca Jane Flanagan from Musical Experiences for Children will provide parents and caregivers of babies zero to 12 months with the tools and confidence to explore music with their little ones.

Come along and learn a range of songs, rhymes and finger play to sing with children everyday as part of their routines and transitions.

Cleaning Chemistry

Friday 21 August, 10.30 – 11.30am, Armadale Library

Find out how you can clean your entire home naturally. Cleaning Chemistry will give you a basic understanding of household science and a spray bottle full of natural cleaners.

Presented by Switch Your Thinking, as part of National Science Week 2015, this hands on workshop will demonstrate how you can clean in an environmentally and budget friendly way.

All participants will receive a Cleaning Chemistry goodie bag.
