All poetry lovers are invited to come and hear the Perth Poetry Club perform readings, some of which will be performed by Jackson, Zan Ross, Neil J (BRiLO) Pattinson and Danny Gunzburg.

To get an idea of what open mic sessions are, visit the Perth Poetry Club website at www.perthpoetryclub.com or better still, attend one of their regular Saturday afternoon sessions in Northbridge.

Beer, wine, soft drinks and other refreshments will be available. Bookings are essential. Visit our events page at library.armadale.wa.gov.au or call 9399 0125 to book.

  • Wednesday 15 October
  • Wednesday 19 November
  • Wednesday 17 December

Women during the War Years

Sunday 26 October
2 – 3pm
Armadale Library

It has been 100 years since the beginning of World War I.

Over the years we have learned so much about the role of our men on the frontline, but our women also faced trials, endured hardships and triumphed during the war years.

Join us at the library for this interesting discussion with Bobbie Oliver, Associate Professor of History at Curtin University, who will enlighten us on this era of history at the home front.

Refreshments will be available. Bookings are essential, as numbers are limited. Visit our events page at library.armadale.wa.gov.au or call 9399 0125 to book.
