National Novel Writing Month – Information session

The City is calling all writers, young and old! As in previous years, Armadale Library will be providing a venue and some events for aspiring writers who wish to participate in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), supported by local libraries under the banner Write along the highway.
Find out what NaNoWriMo is all about during this information session, and meet some people who will become your writing buddies in the near future.
Light refreshments will be provided. Bookings are essential.

Meet the Author – Rebecca Laffar-Smith

West Australian Science Fiction and Fantasy writer Rebecca Laffar-Smith is launching her first fiction novel, The Flight of Torque, Blood of Nagaran – Book one.
Rebecca is the National Novel Writing Month coordinator and previously worked as a free-lance writer, editor and provider of web-technology services.

Spring is the perfect time to get outdoors and enjoy a sunset stroll through the City of Armadale’s picturesque bushlands and reserves.
The guided walks have been showcasing the City’s landscape for more than a decade and are a great way to get outdoors and experience our local natural beauty first hand.
All participants are encouraged to wear suitable loose clothing, enclosed shoes and bring along a bottle of water.
