Throughout the year the City of Armadale will be hosting a series of Positive Ageing Sessions at the Armadale Library, and other venues throughout the City of Armadale, to engage older members of the community.

The workshops are held each month and cover a wide range of topics such as safety and security, health, activities for older people and other useful information.

Ageing in the real world

Wednesday 7 March, 1.30 – 2.30pm
Armadale Library

Naturopath, Kacey Grieves, presents a comprehensive overview of the main effects of ageing and how to combat these efficiently.

Addressing myths, the unknown options and debunking marketing spins in the complementary health world.

East Metropolitan Health Services – an overview

Wednesday 7 March, 3 – 4pm
Armadale Library

Health professionals will deliver an overview of the East Metropolitan Health Services and the services available at the Armadale Health Service, including community rehabilitation, physiotherapy, continence, mental health service and aged care assessment.

Refreshments will be provided. Bookings are essential.
