Throughout the year the City of Armadale will be hosting a series of Positive Ageing Sessions at the Armadale Library, and other venues throughout the City of Armadale, to engage older members of the community.

The workshops are held each month and cover a wide range of topics such as safety and security, health, activities for older people and other useful information.

Arthritis and Osteoporosis

Wednesday 6 September, 1.30 – 2.30pm
Armadale Library

An ambassador from Arthritis and Osteoporosis WA will cover:

  • An overview of arthritis
  • Self-management techniques to help cope with day-to-day activities
  • Services and information available.

Healthy Bladder and Bowel

Wednesday 6 September, 3 – 4pm
Armadale Library

Bladder and bowel control problems affect many of us. At this session a representative from Continence Foundation WA will discuss:

  • Healthy bladder and bowel habits
  • Problems, risks and where to get help.

Refreshments will be provided. Bookings are essential.
