Fiona McIntosh and The Chocolate Tin

The Chocolate Tin is the latest novel by Fiona McIntosh, the bestselling author of The Perfumer's Secret.

Fiona enjoyed a long career in the travel industry before becoming an author. It was when she visited York Chocolate Museum and discovered a chocolate tin from the front line, that her story really took its hold.

The Chocolate Tin is a novel about family duty, honour and the intoxication of forbidden love and chocolate. Books will be available to purchase at the event.

Editing a Novel with Dr Ken Spillman

Ken will identify common problem areas in draft manuscripts and offer strategies for addressing them.

Advanced Photography Workshop

This advanced photography workshop is perfect for those who are looking to refine their photography skills by programming their own camera settings. Topics covered in this session include aperture, shutter speed, white balance and light metering.

Participants will need to bring a digital camera or DSLR which features program or manual mode for practical exercises. Participants are expected to be experienced and familiar with their camera.
