Have you ever wanted to hold a banquet? Join Craig Gouldthorp, House Manager of Government House, as he tells us the story behind setting up a formal banquet at Government House and why they need so many knives and forks.

Wonderful Worm Waste

This presentation will cover interesting facts about worms, worm farming, and the role worms play in recycling.

Find out what worms eat, as well as how to recognise and manage pests. This will be followed by a practical demonstration in setting up, operating and maintaining a worm farm.

Participants will also be invited to make their own ECO Pot to take home.

Harmony Week with author Nadia L King

Celebrate Harmony Week 2017 on National Day Against Bullying and Violence with Nadia L King and Headspace.

Although under-reported, suicide is the number one cause of teen death. Bullying is one of the most common triggers, including the cyberbullying that goes on in teen social circles.

Nadia King’s short teen fiction, Jenna’s Truth, tackles cyberbullying head on. It offers answers and provides a starting point for discussion on the effects of bullying and is essential reading for teens, parents and teachers.

Headspace Armadale will also be in attendance.

Scitech Early Childhood Program

Introduction to Oral History Interviews
