Throughout the year the City of Armadale hosts a series of Positive Ageing Sessions at the Armadale Library and other venues to engage older members of the community.

The workshops are held each month and cover a wide range of topics such as safety and security, health, current activities and useful information particularly relevant for older people. The next session in the Positive Ageing Sessions series is:

First Aid Demonstration

Wednesday 7 August, 1.30 – 4pm
Armadale Library

This First Aid demonstration by a representative from St John WA will cover both theory and practical demonstrations of:

  • Common injuries and illnesses and their treatments
  • Fracture management
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the recovery position.

The demonstration provides a good foundation for people to build on their skills and knowledge.
