The Armadale Library will host a variety of free events and activities during this year’s Armadale Arts Festival, proving that libraries have more to offer than the books on their shelves.

From producing picture books and creating captivating characters, to discovering a Lost Perth, and hearing Welsh Classics performed by the Perth Male Voice Choir, art festival goers don’t want to miss a minute at the Armadale Library from 3 to 19 May.

City of Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP said he encourages local residents to visit the library and experience the variety of events on offer during the Festival.

“The Armadale libraries often host a range of free events and talks throughout the year and the Arts Festival is no exception. There are a number of diverse and high calibre events coming up, there’s something to suit everyone.”

The Perth Male Voice Choir who will kick off the festivities with a repertoire of traditional Welsh male voice classics, songs from shows and contemporary pieces on Friday 3 May from 6.30pm.
